How are the prints and posters packaged?
Prints and posters are shipped in heavyweight Yazoo shipping tubes. They are packaged with care using kraft and tissue paper with bubble wrap on each end to ensure that the print or poster doesn’t move around during transit. Chirashi, lobby cards and Japanese programs are shipped flat in firm cardboard photo mailers. Prints and/or orders valued at $1000 or above are shipped in ¼” thick walled PVC pipe included at no extra charge.
How are the prints and posters stored?
All prints are stored in a flat file in mylar sleeves with acid-free cardboard backing in a smoke-free environment.
Are prices negotiable and do you offer bulk rates?
Prices are firm. Orders over $1000 include free shipping in PVC pipe.
What is your return or refund policy?
We can cancel an order if it has not yet been shipped, otherwise all sales are final.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We take pride in packaging our prints to arrive to you safe and sound. If the print gets damaged during transit, please email us with images documenting the condition. We will arrange for the return of the item. Once the item has been returned, we will either ship a replacement (if available) or issue a refund.
I would like to see more of a print before I buy it. Can you send me pictures?
Our Instagram account, @rareprintsandposters, details photos of the actual print or poster. Our website displays a combination of source photos and our own. We are happy to send more detailed photos of any print upon request.
Can multiple pieces be sent together to save shipping costs?
We do combine shipping on orders when applicable. If you were to order a poster and a program, they would be sent separately as the program is mailed flat (not rolled).
