About the Artist

Tom Whalen is a Pennsylvania-based illustrator and vector artist known for bold, geometric compositions built from a limited, carefully considered color palette. His nearly two-decade career includes work for Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and Mondo, drawing on early influences from comic artists like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko alongside graphic designers Saul Bass and Milton Glaser.
