Weekly Drop 5/13/25

Martin Ansin is an artist who's not afraid to shift from one style to the next while maintaining his signature dynamic compositions. Check out the slight differences and similarities within these Star Wars prints, each of them perfect for the movie they're portraying.

Star Wars (regular) by Martin Ansin

Every artist has their specialties, and Martin Ansin is no exception. There are a lot of things he does, and does well. Poses, likenesses, graphic elements, fabric, the list goes on. But one thing stands out in my mind that he just goes to town with: hair.

Flowy, slicked back, feathered or neatly coiffed, they all get Mr. Ansin's immaculate and oh-so-lifelike treatment. And with Star Wars being a child of the 70's, hair was a very big thing. Chewie...Need I say more?

Rogue One (regular) by Martin Ansin

With his Rogue One print, Martin Ansin brings the hair and so much more. He captures the spirit of movie so deeply with the poses, the direction of the looks and the movement created by the graphics and composition. I hope you love it as much as we do!! Cheers.
